My Goals

Professional Goals

Currently, my work experience includes more infrastructure and Devops roles which I am taking a liking to. However, I am still unsure of what specific career path I want to pursue in the long term. I am interested in exploring different areas of technology and gaining experience in various roles to help me make a more informed decision about my future career path.

Ideally, my next goal is to get internships in Networking, Cloud, System Adminstration, and Project/Product management to see what I like best. I am avoiding software roles for now as they are pretty generic and I feel I wont learn as much compared to the roles I mentioned. Additionally, having those skillsets would make it very easy for me to transition into software as most people probably only stick to software as it is very popular in todays age.

Personal Goals

In my personal life, I aim to improve my time management skills and maintain a better work-life balance. I also want to continue developing my communication and leadership abilities. Contiuining my volunteering in Yorks Community as well as new opportunities in my city. Additionally, I hope to purse some hobbies and intrests more like learning guitar, better educating myself on personal finances or even develop a video game one day.
